Have you ever had ‘one of those days’? I’m talkin’ about the days that drag on….and on…and on… and appear to have no end in sight. Most of us have experienced this a time or two and can all relate to that moment when you can finally plop on the couch, kick your feet up, and zone out on some Netflix to unwind. Pure satisfaction, right? But sometimes, the second your butt hits the couch, your conscience chimes in and tries to convince you that you really should be going to the gym instead… (Leave it to your conscience to ruin your potato vibes!)
Well, as great as that might sound in the moment, it doesn’t always feel great the next day—especially if you are trying to lose weight or be mindful of your health. But what if I told you that you can actually exercise and chill out on the couch at the same time? Maybe you’ve even wondered yourself if there were any exercises to do while watching TV! If you have, I am happy to say that you and your conscience will be happy because these are 7 simple home exercises to do while watching TV! 📺
Easy Couch Workout
First things first, let’s talk equipment. Now, if you don’t have access to any exercise equipment at home this is a great option for you because all you need to do these simple home exercises is your couch! Oh, and a TV! (A TV isn’t really essential, but you can watch TV while you do your couch workout!) The couch workout is insanely easy to do and surprisingly effective if you’re looking to tone your entire body in a short amount of time.
Complete 3-5 rounds of 10-15 reps for each exercise in as little time as possible.
Remember, the best way to make the most out of your couch workout is to set a challenge for yourself!
Here’s an example… try and complete as many rounds of the workout as you can before a commercial break! Use the commercial break as an opportunity to slow your heart rate, grab some water, and prepare for the next round! If you’d prefer something a little less intense, simply complete the assigned reps and sets above! Either way, you are going to be happy that you moved your body and did something great for your health!
Recover Faster With BCAAs
You can even help your body recover faster by sipping on a blend of branch chain amino acids (BCAAs), like SkinnyFit Repair and Recover. Although BCAAs are most beneficial to drink directly after exercise, your muscles will absorb the nutrients during exercise as well, making this a perfect supplement to add to your routine during, and post workout!
So, are you ready? Let’s do this!
